The staff were very attentive and the food was excellent.

Nowhere to sit and have a drink as there is only a restaurant downstairs. Parking not that good at the rear.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The meals were excellent and good value. The room though not big was very comfortable.

The showers need to be improved as we had trouble getting hot water and the flow was poor.

The staff made us very welcome with our young child and the cottage was perfect for us. It was nice to stay in the self catering cottage and still get the services of the rooms , like breakfast and someone checking if we needed clean towels etc. The location is great, on the main street and very close to the train station.

The only thing we didn't like was that the cottage doesn't really have any privacy as it is right next to the car park so we kept the curtains closed over a lot of the time. Some nice light window blinds would be a nice addition to let light in but keep it private.

We stayed in the double standard room which had a bath which was great after walking round Blair Horse Trials. Staff were really accommodating and gave us breakfast early so we could make the most of the trials.

The staff were certainly friendly and welcoming. The room was up a very steep flight of stairs and banging doors were very disturbing at night.the room and en-suite were clean as was the next to skin bedding, however the valance on the bed was very dirty. The breakfast was excellent and although maybe we wouldnt stay over again we would certainly eat in the restaurant.

    Rather stuffy and very noisy.

My friend and I arranged a one night visit to Pitlochry with aim of climbing Schiehallion which we achieved. Booked Strathgarry night before and what a wee gem. From minute we arrived felt looked after. Young staff very friendly and professional. The room was very cozy and clean. Good quality linen, towels and toiletries. We ate in restaurant in evening absolutely fab, great steak and red wine. Breakfast in morning set us up for the day best full bfast I have tasted for a while. Honestly nothing but good things to say can't wait to go back. Well Done to staff. Aileen + Ann

Staff friendly and helpful. Room warm and comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Good position on main street - easy to find. Excellent breakfast.

For someone with disabilities the stairs to the rooms could prove difficult.

Very nice and quite rooms. Good food and excellent location, directly on the main road in the center of a beautiful village. Be aware that the name is "Garry" as you may not find "Strath" ritten in big letters !

It was not so easy to park our car as it was big and the hotel has only 3 places directly in the rear of the building. Other places are supposed to be available in the surroundings.

Hogmanay gift pack and card were a nice touch. Dinner on Hogmanay very good.

Bedroom was quite small and domestic staff need to look slightly higher when dusting. Ceiling light had not seen a duster for quite some time. Was advertised as having flat screen tv but ours wasn't and the tv we had didn't work. Had porridge for breakfast which was very lumpy! Dinner on New Years night was a shambles with one member of staff running ragged. Our pasta dishes were well below expected standard but fair to the waitress she deducted them from our bill. Breakfast next morning not too good either. Staff could do with a wee refresher course on customer service.

Welcoming mince pies! Extra heater supplied- this was a really cold snowy weekend so the heater was much apprediated. Beds, bed linen and duvet very comfortable. Lovely ambience in the cottage and we appreciated the modern decor. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again despite the negative comments we have made.

Insufficient seating in the lounge-we were three adults obliged to squash together on a 2 seater settee or bring through a bedroom chair. Although there was a dining room table there were no dining room chairs and only 2 stools at the breakfast bar. In the twin bedroom it would have been helpful to have a wall mirror and bedside light and hooks behind the door. Of great concern was the cooker hood which was unattached at one side and nearly fell onto a frying pan. We reported this to management

We stayed here for 3 nights for the New Year, staff very pleasant and helpful, breakfast was very good and plenty of choice. We had a 3 course meal on New Years Eve for £29.00 plus ticket for Mc Kays, food was excellent allround good value for the evening. The room was to the front large light and airy. The rooms where situated in walking distance of shops and bars, will certainly return, found it good value for money.
